The 3gCustomz Ford Lighting Hood Prop secures your hood in a steady, open position for shows by engaging the factory latch and locking onto the OEM striker. Built vehicle-specific from CNC-cut 1/8″ aluminum, it resists gusts that can lift or slam the hood and installs using factory points—no drilling—then removes in minutes.
Materials and personalization
Finish options include paint, powder coat, wrap, hydro-dip, or factory aluminum. For factory aluminum, apply a light clear coat to help prevent handling discoloration. Brushed aluminum may show minor mill marks, especially near bends or welds. Personalize with Standard, Premium, 3D, or Custom cut-outs; see the cut-out chart in the second product image. If you choose Custom, we’ll contact you to finalize the design.
